So, feel free to reach out to me or anyone on my team for any group health assistance. Just a few housekeeping items before I hand this over. There’s a chat feature on the right where you can ask questions at any time, and there’s also a handout section with resources you can download whenever you need them.

Now that we’ve covered that, I’m excited to introduce Greg Schlater, Vice President of Sales at New Benefits, who will go over how to use New Benefits during the fourth-quarter rush. Thank you again for joining us—take it away, Greg.

Thank you, Elise, and hello, everyone. We’re excited to be part of the URL program and to work with all the great people associated with the URL brokerage agency.

New Benefits is a company that makes things better. In the old days, there was an advertisement that said, “You don’t know our name, but we make everything you use better.” That’s essentially what we do. Today, we’ll review a few of the benefit packages we’ve put together with URL for your open enrollment season.

As you know, if you never bring anything new to an account, you’re considered old. You always need something new, fresh, and exciting that reflects what employees are looking for. The days of simply letting renewals renew are gone. Competition is fierce, and if people can’t get what they want from you—or don’t think you have what they want—they’ll keep looking without you even knowing until it’s too late.

We’ll review a few things that can help you stay in the game, remain competitive, and make your value proposition more exciting. All of the benefits we’ll discuss today are non-insurance benefits. That doesn’t mean we don’t play in the insurance world—most of our plans are designed to be bolted alongside insurance renewals to make them better.

As we all know, health premiums have not gone down in the past ten years—they’ve gone up. Employers try to mitigate that by keeping prices low, but employees end up with higher deductibles, losing many first-dollar benefits. That’s where we come in. Many of our benefits are considered services rather than insurance.

For example, telemedicine is not an insurance policy; it’s a service that may be embedded inside one. We deliver these kinds of services to make existing plans better. We offer plans that can be provided to part-time employees—an area that’s often challenging for employers—and we also deliver services like nurse lines, dental and vision networks, and more. Our pricing is a fraction of the cost of insurance because we deliver services, not coverage.

A little bit about New Benefits: we’re one of the largest discount medical plan organizations (DMPOs) in the country, with millions of members who access one or more of our benefits nationwide. As an aggregator of non-insurance benefits, we sometimes own the networks and sometimes partner with them, delivering access at wholesale rates that allow for built-in commissions.

We recently launched a B2C platform for organizations with many non-benefit-eligible employees, allowing them to purchase plans directly through a web platform using a credit or debit card. Members can log in through our “My Benefits Work” mobile app or desktop portal, and we provide customer service through our call center in Dallas, Texas.

When benefits are sold, we mail a benefit booklet and ID card directly to each employee’s home, or to the employer for distribution. These include login instructions, benefit details, and contact information. We handle all fulfillment and printing in-house.

Today we’ll cover five benefit programs developed with URL: the Health Boost Plan, Mental Health Component, Family Building Program, Family Pet Care Plan, and Identity Theft Plan.

We’ve also developed a URL landing page where brokers can quickly access proposals, videos, and materials at info.newbenefits.com/urlportal (password: URLportal). This portal allows you to generate proposals, download open enrollment flyers, agreements, and view short educational videos that explain the benefits to employers.

Now, let’s review the benefits.

Health Boost Plan
Many employers want a baseline dental, vision, chiropractic, and alternative medicine plan. Traditional dental or vision insurance can be expensive, costing $30–$50 per month per person, or over $100 outside a group plan. We’ve partnered with Aetna Dental Access, which provides PPO dental network access for just $6.95 per month per family. This includes dental, vision, chiropractic, and alternative medicine benefits.

For example, a typical oral exam costing $70 under normal rates costs only $35 with Aetna Dental Access. Orthodontics that might cost $5,500 normally averages about $3,600 through the plan. These savings easily exceed the total cost of the plan.

Our vision network covers eyeglasses, contacts, and eye exams nationwide, including mail-order contact lenses at some of the lowest rates available. We also own our chiropractic network, providing unlimited discounted visits, and include an alternative medicine network covering yoga, tai chi, acupuncture, and more.

This package is an easy way for employers to add value and help employees save money.

Mental Wellbeing Package
Mental health is one of the most requested benefits today. Many EAPs claim to offer it but fail to deliver. Our program includes therapy access through Teladoc’s mental health platform, where members can meet with licensed therapists either with no per-session cost or with a $25 copay, depending on the employer’s choice.

It also includes 24/7 access to master’s-level counselors and a robust self-help platform called LifeSpeak, featuring articles and videos from professionals on topics like stress, anxiety, loss, and workplace challenges.

We also include alternative medicine options, recognizing that physical wellness supports mental health.

Pricing depends on group size and session fee structure. For example, groups over 50 employees can offer the plan at $10.35 per month per employee with a $25 copay, or $11.45 per month with no copay.

Family Pet Wellbeing Package
About 65% of households have pets. Pet insurance can be expensive, so we created a $8.10 per month family plan that covers all pets in the home. It includes 24/7 pet telehealth (consulting veterinarians by phone), a nationwide vet discount network, lost pet recovery, and savings on prescriptions, toys, and pet supplies.

We also include access to a national discount shopping network offering deals on restaurants, travel, and entertainment.

Family Building and Support Plan
Many employees are waiting longer to start families and need fertility, surrogacy, or adoption support. Our $6.05 per month Family Building Program provides professional guidance, significant discounts on fertility services, genetic testing, surrogacy coordination, and adoption assistance through WINFertility.

It also includes work-life concierge services through Aetna, which helps employees locate childcare, senior care, education resources, and household assistance. Caregiver support and legal resources such as healthcare directives and power of attorney forms are included as well.

LifeLock Identity Theft Protection
We also offer LifeLock with Norton protection, which includes VPN, social media monitoring, home title protection, and a $1 million reimbursement guarantee. Pricing is $8.85 per month for individuals and $14.29 for families.

These benefits can be customized. You can combine multiple options into a single package for a group, and we’ll price it accordingly. All benefits are accessible through our app and desktop portal, which can also store insurance ID cards and plan documents for easy reference.

Most plans are employer-paid, though voluntary options are available. There are no participation requirements other than a $50 minimum list bill.

To recap:

Health Boost Plan: $6.95/month per family
Mental Health Plan: $10.35–$11.45/month per employee
Family Pet Wellbeing: $8.10/month per family
Family Building: $6.05/month per family
LifeLock Identity Protection: $8.85 individual / $14.29 family
We also include complimentary benefits such as a prescription discount card, lab testing, MRI and CT scan discounts, diabetic supplies, travel and shopping savings, and a cashback program.

These programs are designed to provide strong, affordable, first-dollar benefits that improve employee satisfaction and help brokers bring fresh, competitive options to clients during renewal season.

Thank you, Greg, for the presentation. It was very informative. If anyone has questions, feel free to reach out after the session. We’ll circulate the PowerPoint and application materials.

Greg: Thank you. On the first page of that PowerPoint, there’s a link to the URL landing page where you can download proposals, watch videos, and learn more about each benefit package.

Thank you again, everyone, for attending, and have a great rest of your day.
